Freestyle Studio is a Windows desktop application for playing YouTube content and making audio recordings. This policy describes the information used when you choose to connect your Google/YouTube account.
1. YouTube account information
When you choose to connect your account, Freestyle Studio uses Google's authorization process to request access to YouTube information needed for features such as retrieving your playlists and video details. The exact access requested is displayed on Google's consent screen. Freestyle Studio does not ask you to type your Google password into the app.
2. How information is used
YouTube information is used to display playlists and load videos you choose in the application. Freestyle Studio does not use this information for advertising or sell it to third parties.
3. Audio recordings
Recordings from your microphone, selected audio inputs, and system playback are saved locally on your computer. Freestyle Studio does not upload these recordings to a Freestyle Studio server. You can manage or delete your local files yourself.
4. Authorization and local storage
The application may store account authorization information on your device to support continued account access. This information is used to provide the YouTube features you authorize. Google and YouTube process information needed to authenticate your account and provide their services.
5. Sharing and third-party services
Freestyle Studio does not sell YouTube account information or share it with advertisers. To provide account-connected features, the application communicates with Google's and YouTube's services. Their practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service.
6. Revoking access and deletion
Connecting YouTube is optional. You can revoke the application's access through your Google Account third-party connections. You can delete recordings saved on your computer. For assistance with locally stored account credentials, contact the address below.
7. Security and retention
Freestyle Studio does not maintain an online database of users' recordings or YouTube account information. Local files and any locally stored authorization information remain subject to your computer's storage, security, and deletion settings.
